Barb Miller (she/her)

INSTRUCTOR

Barb’s yoga journey deepened in 2016, following a life-altering family tragedy. In the wake of devastation, yoga became a powerful path to healing and transformation. What began as a personal refuge soon evolved into a calling to share yoga’s many benefits with others.

Barb completed her 200-hour teacher training under Shannon Kidwell at Sweetwater Yoga in Orlando, FL, and is certified in Y12SR (Yoga of 12-Step Recovery) through training with Nikki Myers. She offers clear, alignment-based, breath-focused guidance, striving to make her classes accessible for beginners while remaining supportive and engaging for more seasoned practitioners. With a foundation in Hatha yoga, Barb brings thoughtful care and insight to every class, especially when supporting aging bodies and those on a healing path.

She continues to study and grow as a teacher and is currently pursuing certification through the Yoga Anatomy Academy Mentorship under Dr. Ariele Foster.

Originally from Indiana, Barb moved to Washington in 2021 to be close to her first grandchild. When she’s not on the mat, you’ll find her outdoors, walking with purpose, cooking something nourishing, or soaking up time as “Super Nana.”
