5 YEARS OF COMMUNITY
ON + OFF THE MAT
Heights Yoga is turning FIVE!
On Saturday, September 19, we're celebrating five years of movement, connection, growth, and community—and you're invited.
Join us for a full day of free + donation-based yoga from 7 AM–2 PM, followed by our 5-Year Anniversary Party from 3–8 PM, with food, drinks, music, wellness experiences, giveaways, a silent auction, and more.
And because we believe our yoga matters beyond the studio walls, we're using our birthday to give back.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 for Educational Opportunities for Children & Families (EOCF).
COME CELEBRATE WITH US!
MORE THAN A PLACE TO PRACTICE
Heights Yoga was founded with the belief that a yoga studio could be more than a place to take a class. It could be a place to practice, connect, grow, and belong—and a place where what we learn on our mats shapes how we show up beyond them.
That idea has carried Heights through the past five years.
We've changed owners, traveled the world on retreats, welcomed countless students and teachers, and grown into new spaces (hello, More Love Yoga next door). But through every chapter, a few things have stayed at the heart of what we do:
Invest in our teachers.
Show up for our students.
Give back to our community.
That has taken a lot of different forms.
We've offered weekly free community classes, Yoga for Recovery for those impacted by addiction, Lunch + Kids Yoga, scholarships for students and teacher trainees, and opportunities for new teachers to grow their careers.
Together, we've also supported organizations throughout our community, including Clark County Food Bank, IRCO, Vancouver Farmers Market, Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries, Vancouver Public Schools, Intentions for Good, and more.
And none of it happens without the people who keep showing up.
That's what we're celebrating on September 19—not just five years of Heights Yoga, but the community that has made those five years possible.

CELEBRATE + GIVE BACK
And because this party is about more than celebrating us, we're turning our anniversary into an opportunity to give back.
Throughout the day, we'll be raising money for Educational Opportunities for Children & Families (EOCF), including through a special anniversary silent auction featuring some incredible donations from our studio and local community.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 for EOCF—and 100% of silent auction proceeds will help us get there.
Why EOCF? We're glad you asked.
WHY WE'RE GIVING BACK
OUR YOGA PRACTICE DOESN'T END WHEN WE ROLL UP OUR MATS.
For five years, Heights has believed that yoga isn't only about what happens inside the studio.
Our practice asks us to pay attention. To care for ourselves so we can show up for others. To build connection. To participate in our community.
So when we asked our teaching team how Heights should mark its five-year anniversary, we knew that giving back needed to be part of the celebration.
Our teachers chose Educational Opportunities for Children & Families (EOCF) as our 5-Year Anniversary beneficiary.
WHY EOCF?
EOCF's mission is to connect, empower, and transform the lives of children and families.
Since 1967, the organization has grown into a leading provider of comprehensive early-childhood education and family support in Southwest Washington.
Their work starts with children, but intentionally extends to the whole family.
EOCF provides high-quality preschool and childcare through programs including Early Head Start, Head Start, and Washington's Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) at no cost to eligible families throughout Clark County, Woodland, and Long Beach.
But preparing a child to thrive takes more than a classroom.
EOCF works alongside families to address the bigger picture by connecting parents and caregivers with resources for health care, nutrition, housing, education, employment, and other needs to help families build strong foundations.
Their programs also include health and developmental screenings, nutritious meals, family education and engagement, connections to medical and dental care, and support navigating community resources.
It's a whole-family approach built around a simple belief:
When children and families have the support they need to thrive, our entire community becomes stronger.
That's a mission that feels deeply connected to ours.
Heights has always believed in accessibility, investing in people, supporting kids and families, creating opportunities for growth, and showing up for the community we call home.
This anniversary is our opportunity to put those values into practice.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 for EOCF through anniversary class contributions, our silent auction, and direct giving.
